By direct injection of steam, exhaust device, and efficient barrel cooling, perfect control of screw speed, screw configuration, shear, and temperature conditions can be achieved. This will optimize the particle's functionality and nutritional properties, such as bulk density, calibration, cooking degree, optimal protein-lipid ratio, and so on.
